I predict a mad (with the stupidity of humanity) biological weapons researcher will do a 12 monkeys style release to attempt to save what left of the natural world we inherited but fucked royally 😳 still working on odds !

Net zero is not a solution (to our global warming conundrum), or a workable goal in anyway that matters.
Reality is much harder to accept and grasp in these times of polarised opinions and zero truths.

Gday Nick, as a reasonably informed Aussie whom talks to everyone that crossed paths re: metacrisis, I am wondering if people like myself experience the same general lack of concern, interest or care. Would you consider 'questioning' the plebes such as myself to how 'we' see the disconect daily.

An aussie here, bound to the very same GDP growth pollitical and economic system as you; and when you actually 'see' a way for that system to allow for negitive growth, then you could share a glimer of hopuim mate.. :(

any chance you could look at our emissions when all the offshore production is included in our consumption, surely our per capita GHG use is right up there.... no escaping our culpability. All to easy to balme China and not the real issue of enegy blind consumption !

Alan, could you please do a video explaining the data presented in your latest climate/carbon story. Are the tally of China's emmsions valid as we like most of the world import our cabon and chemical heavy production form China, do we count the footprint of that importation as our own immissions ?
