Most of my issues lately have been coming to terms with the fact you’re gonna get more Doc + Cane action at cons. I have bursitis in my hip that is, thus far, resistant to medications so I’m even more broken than usual. It’s been a lot getting used to that concept tbh.

Because of the dog (she’s very old and is dying) I’m not excited for MCM at all but I know I’ll enjoy it when I get there! And until the day comes, I will enjoy my little beast being full of snuggles! Her new favourite thing is laying on my chest and it’s everything to me 🥺

Pinned to my wig head and brushed, then crimped. I then back combed and sprayed with hairspray, then left it in a warm room overnight, then brushed it out.

I pinned in and sewed the lace section in the gap left behind. I always make sure after pinning that I turn the wig the right way round and put it on my wig head, so if there’s a gap or anything you can repin and save yourself a fight. I also sewed in those wefts I harvested in the last post!

After a quick brush, I turned the wig inside out then measured 4cm from the front of the forehead hairline and across. I separated the wefts so I didn’t lose any hair, and cut away the section I no longer needed. I harvested the spare wefts from this bit though!

I started with a Coscraft Super Maru in Dark Strawberry Blonde with a matching lace front section. I went with a super Maru because the underlayers of this wig are double wetted so they’re better for spiky, anime duck-butt style Kagari has.
