I guess it’s not a happy ending, maybe I should’ve said closure for her character instead. I thought of Nayuta as the version of her that could’ve lived a happier life, forming the equal relationships that Makima wanted

Very unexpected and tragic, I wish we got more of her in the story. It felt like Makima’s “happy” ending was cut short here too, since the next incarnation probably won’t have a nurturing family environment and suffer the same issues again 🙁
