Maybe the solution is to do all the prep for a nice meaty stew before the game, then put it in the oven / on the hob when the final whistle blows, and let it stew for as long as you do. Then at least you’ll have a delicious meal… 😅

Here’s the thing. The games have been poor generally and I was thoroughly pissed off at the abysmal horror of the Chelsea game. But I told myself all the intelligent guy, will learn from this stuff then. But yesterday showed he hasn’t learned a thing from that - a stark enough lesson, you’d think…

Watched it at my mum and dad’s and needed also to be in a fit state to cook them a meal afterwards so I watched the whole thing without anything to take the edge off. On the plus side, watching the game made peeling potatoes feel like fun afterwards..
