100% true for most creative things. However Netflix have made the issue of people waiting for a thing to be finished before engaging so much worse by cancelling shows that are incomplete/end on cliffhangers. Why engage with a new show if you don't know if the next season will get green lit? Hate it.

Totally true. Even if you are brilliant, you need to be someone people want to work with to achieve stuff. At the high end of careers this involves pursuading people to invest money for your project/company.

So we got one boss down in about an hour and struggled with another. There's another go tomorrow but I'm not sure if I'll make it.
