My dad is in charge of planting flags at veterans graves at the rural cemeteries in his remote North Dakota county. Today we helped him put flags at graves of veterans of the Civil War to Vietnam.

Ran across one of the most fascinating people I’ve ever met in a North Dakota courtroom. Marty Garbus has to be among the planet’s spriest, sharpest, nicest 90 year-olds, and he simply has no peer when it comes to his legendary career. He’s here as a trial monitor for Energy Transfer v. Greenpeace.
