Long time campaigner for restoring Scotland’s independence. Carpe diem.
They are now all singing from the same hymn sheet. Scotland must have the opportunity to exercise its right to self-determination and choose Independence.

Keir Starmer only has the power to prevent Scots using their vote for national change because our leaders permit him. Starmer is a paper tiger, unable to stand against the domestic and international legitimacy of the ballot box. It’s time to use it for independence in 2026.

This is Scotland's future in the union. Families ripped asunder and 'sent back' as Farage seeks to remove Indefinite Leave to Remain from folk already granted it, massive economic damage to Scotland's economy, our NHS and our Care sector. It is an outrage. Independence is urgent 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Scotland has been shadow boxing since 2014, with a SNP government unable or unwilling to move the dial on Independence and groups of independence groups working in silos. Today is the first step in uniting the movement to win. Great contributions from Jim Sillars, AlexNeil, Simon Forrest et al.

American says her health insurance plan is now so expensive, she has to decide if she should keep her insurance or lose her home. This is the future for Scots if we remain in England's union. Time to leave.

Remember when 'Better Together' asserted only a No vote would keep Scotland in the EU? When a No vote would mean lower prices? Well, the truth is out, the WM govt admits that England's Brexit has led to inflationary price rises. The return of Scottish sovereignty is urgent.

"So Scotland ceased as a state, England continued. And yet Scotland is to be regarded as a partner in this state. If this sounds contradictory, it is because it is."

Scotland as an independent nation would be Europe's energy powerhouse. No longer subsidising England but attracting businesses and jobs drawn by cheap power and Scots citizens benefiting from low bills. The alternative broadcast by BBC Brit News is a unionist disaster.

Former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said that a ‘50 plus one’ threshold in a border poll is ‘enough’ for reunification - that a majority is a majority. Varadkar is right, so let's not indulge the nonsense peddled by some that Scotland requires 55/65% for Independence.

Geoff Aberdein's furious frustration at the inability of the SNP to 'agitate for powers' and link them directly to Independence and better economic and social outcomes for ordinary Scots is shared across the #YES movement. Get on it Mr Swinney.
June 19, 2025 at 4:02 PM
The SNP didn't mention Independence once in the by-election. They have no plan and no strategy to deliver the right of Scots to choose their own future, far less the vision of Change and Hope required to checkmate England's 'No' and liberate the country. If Swinney can't/won't others must.

As soon as Greg Jackson, boss of Octopus Energy, explains how Scotland could have the cheapest energy in Europe the presenter dashes to end the interview. The Union is bad for our economy, our heating bills, Scottish jobs and our place in Europe.
