Heck of a win by Notre Dame. Marcus Freeman has upgraded the athleticism on this roster, recruiting very well. He's also made some excellent hires especially with both coordinators. Felt like the Irish were one step ahead of the Dawgs. ND held UGA to 2 for 12 on 3rd downs and 0 for 4 on 4th downs.

A lot of Bears fans think they would have made the playoffs with Jayden Daniels. If we’ve learned anything from the resurrected careers of Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield, it’s that situations matter. Daniels situation is a big reason he’s blossomed. Caleb’s situation is big reason he has not.

Clemson's run D is why I thought the Tigers would lose this game. The Tigers have gotten worse against the run each year over the past 4 seasons. They're only No. 14 in the ACC vs the rush. Six opponents have averaged over five yards against them this season. Texas is now averaging 7.7 yds a carry.

A perfect opening drive for Cade Klubnik and OC Garrett Riley. Klubnik opens 6-for-7 with a TD pass, looking very comfortable throughout, as if he was still playing for Austin Westlake. He connected with five different receivers on a 12-play drive for the Tigers. Clemson up 7-0.

Notre Dame RBs coach Deland McCullough is a terrific position coach. He raved about Jeremiyah Love's development this off-season. Last year at this time he was 188 pounds when he played in their bowl game. Got up 212 and kept his blazing speed and COD. Said he's skilled enough he could play WR too.

Hate to see Rylie Mills go down like that clutching his knee. One of the most explosive interior DLs in college football. Been on our Freaks List the last two years. Has made some big plays tonight, drawing a holding penalty early in the game and just made that sack before getting hurt.

Notre Dame rushed for 131 yards in the first quarter on the No. 1 run defense in the nation. Charlotte was the only opponent to run for more than that on Indiana in the entire game, and the 49ers only went for 137 on IU and they did it on 33 carries. The Irish are averaging 16.4 yards per carry.

FSU has hired Tim Harris Jr. to be the Noles pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach. The Miami native has spent three of the previous four years at UCF, most recently serving as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach in 2024.
