The problem isn’t the speech being political, but that the politics of the speech went against social norms and the industry’s systemic racist value.
His comment reminds me of how audiences booed Sacheen Littlefeather’s speech in ‘73. She was on the right side of history - they were not.

It’s the best of the bunch to be honest. All three seasons are way better than anything in the US.
