Think about every recent burst of "100% automated!" tech hype. Tesla robots that were remotely run by uncredited humans. Amazon walk-in-walk-out stores that were remotely run by uncredited humans. This is also the reality of AI- "100% AI" projects are not 100% AI, because that would be embarrassing.

I’m a PhD in Design. I don’t know anything about you nor did I pretend to. You seem to be defending the use of AI for propaganda. And I didn’t even disagree with you at any stage, I just criticised AI gen images. Unless you want to engage in good faith, I’ll say good bye.

As if that was ever my aim. So much for trying to actually discuss a topic on this platform. Now I know why you like AI images so much.

It is possible to critique the concept of propaganda and critique the machine which produces it whilst also recognising its (destructive) power. My point was, its strength in propaganda reveals much about the nature of AI images. These are not images that discuss, they argue.

Oh! Then what don’t you understand? I said art only need be produced this fast for propaganda. Is it not clear?

I would like to solicit from you the agreement that the act of using a computer program to generate this effortless slop is, in fact, not curious nor creative.
