We saw an amazing display about this in the History Colorado Center years ago. Was chilling to realize that Americans were incarcerated for their race.
Over 120,000 Japanese Americans forced into imprisonment in internment camps simply because they were of Japanese heritage.
On this Day of Remembrance, we honor the 120,000 Japanese Americans unjustly imprisoned during WWII because of their heritage. Their resilience remind us to never forget the lessons of history. We will continue to fight for justice, equality, and civil rights for all.
