Overthinking Everything and I Like it That Way
For me, the craving for collapse is a craving for truth. There is nothing more sane than that.

Every country’s tariffs will get lowered to 10 percent, including China (after fake negotiations). Everyone is thrilled and MAGA celebrates markets going up despite inflation on all our essentials until quarterly earnings reports, layoffs, and massive numbers of small business closures pile up.

Same here - I can be social and I love my friends but social isolation was my favorite part of the pandemic and I kind of miss it.

This was phenomenal. I listened on my way in to work this morning. I’ve been so focused on preparing for the worst, but it helped me realize that I need to create more joy each day.

I avoided buying anything. I also have an online business at www.earthandapple.com that curates non-toxic personal care products from small batch producers who put human and planetary health first. I thought I might see some sales being an ethical small business, but all good. We don't need so much.

This was a great episode. Christian's work in his community is inspiring and some version of this could be within reach for all of us.
