Biocontrol field work has its benefits though (stole this bigass Reed avocado + many more from the orchards)
My hopper, Sophonia orientalis, the two-spotted leaf hopper. Pest of over 300 plants but hard to find anyway. My work will involve determining whether or not a certain parasitoid wasp (a fairy wasp) will attack its eggs, confirming their significance as biocontrol agents.
