Just for fun, I asked it how to say "I am fifteen years old" in Spanish, mostly to see if it would tell me it had fifteen anuses. It didn't do that, but it did have a more correct Spanish accented male voice say, "Tengo fifteen años." No translation of the number. #GoogleGemini

Note that for the last several years, before the last AI "improvement," I was able to ask it for translations and receive them pronounced correctly with no issues. #GoogleGemini #AISucks

I then asked it to translate the word "newspaper" into Spanish and it proceeded to find a sample sentence on the Internet and read it out with the most "freshman in Spanish 1" English accent I have ever heard. #GoogleGemini

My experience is that Duolingo also teaches concepts in a different order than my structured Spanish classes, so even at the level I tested into, I often still get to jump ahead and skip a unit because I already know the material.
