Family reunion dinner with Peruvian food!! Everything was so delicious ahhh it was an incredible experience 🥰🇵🇪✨

We celebrated a birthday and then announced our engagement at the end of the meal!! 🎊
Lightly battered jumbo shrimp, rocoto-sriracha aioli, & green onions. Whole grilled Maine lobster, Mahi-Mahi filet, sautéed mussels, clams, calamari, jumbo shrimp. Peruvian scallops, & head-on prawns. Served over roasted potatoes, choclo, & chalquita onions. Platter with 16 oz ribeye steak, half rotisserie chicken and crispy pork belly. Served with papas parrilleras, demi-glace and chimichurri. A plate each of dulce de leche cake, mango panna cotta, and chocolate bandido. The plate with the dulce de leche has "Happy Birthday" written in powdered sugar.

Last night, my boyfriend and I watched CNBLUE perform!! We've both been fans since we were kids and they haven't visited America in over a decade so we had to see them. I'm so happy we finally got our chance!! 😭🫰🏾🩵

A fresh bouquet of flowers gifted to me by my significant other!! It includes some of my favorite flowers: roses, hydrangeas, and lillies. The roses are baby pink and magenta, the hydrangeas are a baby blue, and the lillies are a light pink (but not open in this picture). When I wasn't looking, my partner put a little green onion in the shape of a heart on my plate. It was a cute surprise 💕 Some mango, passionfruit, and white chocolate tarts we shared. The tarts are glossy orange reminiscent of fresh mangoes. They are topped with some white chocolate shavings. Some vanilla and raspberry heart-shaped macarons we shared. The vanilla macarons are cream colored with little specks of red and pink. The raspberry macarons are a shade of deep pink.

We ended our holiday with Japanese curry!! Mine was the karaage and his was the chicken katsu. The portions at this restaurant were HUGE 🍛 #zarisadventures

For dinner, we had a deluxe meshi, which was a #claypot with #seafood. My favorite dish, however, was the yaki #onigiri. So buttery and deep fried to perfection!!

I am a fiend for #yuzu and we had been getting yuzu drinks at all the restaurants. This one had a very tasty #sherbert though!! 🍲🍙🍊🍧
Deluxe meshi, which is a clay pot with salmon, unagi, and roe. The rice at the bottom gets crispy, which makes it extra delicious. Yaki onigiri, or deep fried rice balls. These were filled with roe and deep fried to perfection on both sides. They are topped with sliced green onion. A bowl of one large scoop of yuzu sherbert to share. Yuzu is a citrus fruit that is very popular in Asian cuisines. It is tart but very fragrant. It looks like a mandarin orange, except yellow with a rough exterior.

For dinner, we had a reservation at a very traditional Japanese restaurant. We ate some simple but decadent dishes. Everything was so flavorful!! My favorites were definitely the #chawanmushi and grilled #mackerel
Braised eel with fresh mountain vegetables, including burdock root, grated mountain yam, and sliced cucumber. The vegetables were lightly salted and the eel was braised in soy sauce. A broth made primarily of mushrooms and dashi stock. Very filling yet light. Chawanmushi, or savory steamed egg custard. There are mushrooms, salmon and shiso leaves cooked into the dish. Saba no ichiya-boshi, or seasoned and air dried grilled mackerel. The outside is very crispy and the inside is tender. The dish is garnished with the core of a bok choy.

For lunch the next day, we went to a restaurant that specializes in #udon!! I got the spicy broth while my partner got the plain one. We also shared an order of #karaage and #meloncreamsoda 🍜🍗🍈🥤🫧

For dinner we went to an #izakaya and had an assortment of #skewers!! Surprisingly, the vegetable ones had the most flavor. My most favorite dish, however, was the #scallops and vermicelli in garlic butter. So savory and delicious!! 🍢🦪🍝🧄🧈 #zarisadventures

On the first day of our #anniversary and #Valentines weekend, we got deluxe #omakase and chirashi for lunch!! This was some of the best seafood I've ever had, everything practically melted in our mouths 🤤🍣 #zarisadventures

When we were kids, my SO and I got into the habit of drawing faces on tangerines and then eating them together.

That's actually where the name "tanzareen" comes from!!

This year for Lunar New Year, we invited one of my best friends to partake in the tradition.

I unlocked the Caleb: Farspace Colonel outfit / new companion after pulling the 5-star memory pair!! Caleb is wearing a different style of his black colonel uniform. It has the same elements of his regular uniform, except it looks like a long black trench coat. He is surrounded by drones and holographic data screens with decorative splashes of red.

We made mille-feuille #nabe the other day!! 🍲🥬🥩🍄🥢

My SO and I both really enjoy #hotpot and other kinds of #soup!! He loves Napa cabbage, and I've been wanting to try this recipe for a long time.

My Love and Deepspace main character!! She has brown skin, black eyes, and black hair parted down the side with bangs curving over her left eye. For makeup she has black eyeliner and reddish lips, which match her red and white outfit. Her outfit consists of a houndstooth beret and a white turtleneck under a modern style red and white qipao or cheongsam, and she has matching floral earrings.
