Truth! I panicked upon losing my health insurance. Soon after was diagnosed with cancer. Humbling as it was, acquiring Charity Care with UNC meant that I received their top care without -ever- having to ask any cost or whether insurance covered it. Losing insurance was the biggest blessing ever.

She reminds me a lot of my once-feral kitten who was by my side for almost 20 years. I named her Purdida. Spanish for lost or stray is perdida, but changed to purr as she expressed her joy at being warm and fed. I still miss her precious heart.
