moral of the story? the service ontario website is shite and you will need to prove you are a canadian every time you darken their door.

returned, another hour to 70 minutes. then did the deed, 15 minutes, picked up stuff for dinner and then headed home as the subway was on delay - my usual 25 minute commute plus 12 minute walk - was 95 minutes. all because the government of ontario won't send renewal notices.
