We want to create a neuro-inclusive workplace so ALL our colleagues can feel fully valued and supported. Listening here to the findings from our Quest into the experiences of neuro-diverse colleagues. We began by listening to colleagues’ stories. What better way to develop thinking & understanding!

Joyous day with our Senior Practitioner’s network. We caught up, tuned in, ate cake & took our 1st steps to introducing trauma informed thinking across our 68 adult social care practice teams in Essex.

Fabulous to see how embedded research informed thinking is in my old home Herts Social Care. Today’s research conf presented work from Dr Mary Francis on racial micro aggressions faced by Black African SWs, SW for older ppl by Gerry Nowalska & Reshma Patel & exp of ageing & ageism by Sharna Jolly.

Hoping to have this one out in time for World Social Work Day in 2025. This one’s written by social workers, sw academics & people who draw on social care services. A ‘how to’ of anti racist practice.
