There was no formal agreement to use the private property as a bus hub. UC is also pushing through other unrelated route changes ahead or an ongoing Route Optimization planning.

This street has many cars turning left from southbound across the northbound vehicular lane and the two way cycle track (which is between the northbound vehicular lane and sidewalk). The sight lines are not good enough for two-stage turn queues. A bike box would have been much more appropriate here.

We are now a NACTO Member City, so could be getting advice on how to continue to evolve Broadway. Unfortunately, our City engineer is too focussed on LOS (Level of Service- for cars) to see the value of the resource.

The Broadway Streetscape project (pictured) generally gave up at the intersections. Because of this, it is not safe for people to use the two stage turn queues.
