many years ago when i was a small child, the theater in my small town burned down, and everyone in town walked to the theater to watch. my grandma literally was like "hey the movie theater is burning down and the firefighters are there lets go watch"

i remember watching in disbelief as my nana would take the droplets of pancake batter and remove them from the skillet. she said she wanted her pancakes to be perfect, and i always thought it was a waste to throw away pancake, no matter how unperfect it was

i usually just write poetry as a hobby. id love to embroider one day, but i dont have the supplies. yours looks great though!

there was this girl i worked with who was 4ft something, and we had a joke where every day i would come up with a unique way to call her very short. she worked late, so i usually went with "isnt it past your bedtime? you should be in bed for your first day of kindergarten tomorrow!" and she'd laugh

thats definitely one thing i had in my childhood that i miss so much now that im older. the people around me arent the best for conversation, but neither are the people i find online 😭 when i was younger, i had so many internet friends, but now im just lonely lol
