One of my professors had written a note for a patient with progressive CKD who presented with vomiting and oedema. It just said "Impression: Uremic syndrome. Plan: Hemodialysis."

There was a full stop after "Hemodialysis"

I feel like access isn't so much of an issue these days - anti snake venom (ASV) is administered at the primary healthcare level in my state of tamil nadu

I find it more concerning that we have some cases where we do everything right, and they still get a really bad AKI with systemic envenomation
