....although I am not so sure that the very same bay leaves sold in the store are any fresher? seems like they would b 6 mths old given time takes 2 pick, sort & bottle then ship, onto shelves etc. also think about history & mths it took for spices like cardamon, cinnamon brought by ship 2 Europe
