Yesterday we did the first time ever "Leberkäse from the scratch". It's actually not that hard with the right instructions 😉. There's a great YouTube instruction video including his recipe from "Da Wolfe, if you're interested in doing that as well. It tasted just like back home in Bavaria 😋

Next stop: Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport. We’ll be on our annual family vacation trip and are looking forward to seeing friends and family. And as a special treat we got upgraded to business class. Very nice, also flying A380! A great start into vacation….

Last night I still had to mow the lawn after a long office day because it has been raining so much in the past weeks. So I started around 8pm, but luckily was able to finish before it was totally dark. Anyway, it was a new experience with fireflies dancing around me while I was mowing. Priceless!

Next stop: Washington Dulles International Airport. Was quite eventful in Munich, but now I’m looking forward to getting home to @exilgruenkern.bsky.social and the kids. As a bonus I’ve received an upgrade to Business Class. Nice 😊

Next stop: Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport. Flying out in the dark, no window seat but I could upgrade to business class with miles. So again no picture, but a pleasant ride for my legs. I’ll visit the R&S headquarters for meetings and a workshop, returning on Friday next week.

Next stop: San Francisco International Airport. Won’t have a window seat, so can only provide the view from the outside. Will be there for the International Microwave Symposium exhibition, returning on Thursday. Will be two busy days!

Next stop: Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Glad to be home soon with @exilgruenkern.bsky.social and the kids! Atlanta was really an experience. So much traffic - I would say very close to LA. But the trip was successful, the next trip will be in June to San Francisco.

Next Stop: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It’s a very quick trip to a supplier this time, but long enough for an overnight stay. Will be back home tomorrow evening.

Next stop: Phoenix Sky Harbor airport. This time without documenting picture, no window seat and row is full already. Going on a little adventure trip to Mexico to look at a supplier factory that is giving us a hard time. Then it’s onwards to the Dallas office, back home on Thursday evening.

Next stop: Washington Dulles International Airport. Has been quite a busy week in our headquarters, but I was also able to see friends and family - one of the friends I saw for the first time after 20 years!! We had a great time and certainly the next time won’t be that far in the future.

Next stop: Munich Franz Josef Strauß Airport. Will be in our global headquarters until next Friday. Happy that I can also see my family on the weekend! I was lucky that a colleague had some points so I can go business class this time. Very nice and thank you again, Keith!!

Here's a picture of the certified christmas tree recycling team taking care of our tree. Just took them half a day - and it was a 8ft tree... Glad they liked it.
