week 13 is back to deer creek with the blue jay, a juniper berry infused blue cheese! this RULES. i'm not the biggest blue cheese fan but this was a solid 9/10, the juniper berries add such a good botanical flavor on the front and then the funky blue cheese note comes in on the back

week 12 was this marieke smoked gouda, 8/10. smoked gouda can be real mid if the smoke flavor is too overwhelming or fake but this had a lovely flavor balance between smoky and creamy! a great snacking cheese

catching up on a few weeks of this: roth cheese butterkäse, 6/10 for me because i made a grilled cheese out of it and it was simply TOO melty which i realize is probably not objectively a problem but it was a real struggle texture for me

another 9/10 on week 10! kay went to wisconsin and brought back a selection of cheeses. great crumbly crystally texture on this and i always love an aged cheddar, but flavor is...a little unique in a way i didn't expect out of a cheddar?

week #9 is ST. STEPHEN from FOUR FAT FOWL, apparently the first cheese they've produced?? very nice, very brie-like flavor but lovely and creamy with fun textures throughout, 9/10
