I agree. Actually come to think of it the scene where they raid the woodsman’s shack and assault his wife is really harrowing for its time.

Just caught this last night. It’s solid - really almost a hypnotic dreaminess to it that works quite well. Don’t think it’s Baker’s best by a long shot but think it deserves more consideration
