I don’t think he sticks on their team. I’m intrigued by the Phillies’ pick. He, along with the newly acquired Curet could both be in the bullpen, which is a pretty cost-effective way fill some roster spots.

Or trade for a center fielder.

Crawford is still fine tuning his defense, but is he ultimately a center fielder? If he’s in RF, they very well might have to resign Bader.

They also signed Bryan De La Cruz. Maybe last year was a fluke. There’s still potential there.

But would they be better? They would have to trade away players not named Turner and Harper and rebuild the offense.

Without Schwarber, this lineup has to be quite different than last year to be better. Schwarber was arguably the best offensive player, so the same team minus Schwarber is probably worse.

Horrible call.

I find the move perplexing.

That is a scary aspect of the Dodgers. They can use their starter surplus in the bullpen, which is their largest weakness.

Duran is throwing a lot less splinkers, and he’s been much more successful. It’s more of a freak scenario that he can throw it 98, but it’s more hittable than the fastball/curveball combo. JT has smartly changed up the pitch selection.

It’s exciting that they could catch up to Milwaukee, but as long as they secure the 2nd seed, I’m not sure there’s much of a point to strive for more. Making sure the team is healthy going into the postseason is more important than trying to push it more than they have to.

I would not want the Dodgers rotation in a best of 5. That’d my only real concern.

I’ve been watching this too. The Brewers have been playing over their heads, and they’re starting to come back to reality.

There are so many things to be annoyed about during this game.

I’m really not a fan of the whole ‘let a pitcher start an inning but if one person gets on base, they get pulled’ thing. It kind of seems that it hasn’t been a successful game plan as of late.
