The purity test advocates have definitely succeeded at making the Gaza tragedy and Gaza protester detainments a complete nonissue with most people in the US, across the political spectrum. Perhaps the most counterproductive political movement in American history.

It’s a done deal, there is no do-over. The time to act was last November, and we (the left) failed because we stayed at home out of spite or laxity.
Now we get to watch our society slowly unravel without the benefit of 100 years of hegemony. We will learn the nature of pain. We deserve it.

Lost. My state and region did its part. I feel bad that shit is hitting the fan, but we all have priorities and mine are focused on issues and people that weren’t willing tools of the apparatus that is wreaking havoc on the innocent.
