Also directly responsible for the design and build of the DT-6-6-2000. If they hadn't approached Baldwin about a diesel they could head up trains with that didn't need turned at the end of the line, the design likely wouldn't have existed!

I had to finally make a name and shame list last month after I saw a a November Economic Blackout post using an AI generated image of a No Kings protest. It just pushed me too far.

Railroads like these are some of my favorites. An aging locomotive hauling a single, clapped out old coach at the tail end of a mixed local. The Nelson and Albemarle in Virginia was a lot like like the Tionesta from the looks of it.

An absolute all-timer for The J. Unfortunately it seems they weren't well liked tho, probably because they had to be turned at each end of the route. At least per a postcard, all their units were sold on to the B&O.

I've said similar for consolidations. There's a decent amount of representation for smaller and larger sizes, but there's a distinct lack of anything in the middle ground outside of the recent Broadway Limited version.
