I used to live near a university in my 20s. I didn't have the privilege to attend, but when the students would leave for the holidays, they'd usually only carry home what would fit in their car. They'd toss guitars, espresso machines, and bags full of clothes. It's how I survived. 🤷🏻

Once I learnt that ALL of the books I'd been educated were written from a white perspective, I've been actively working to try to reeducate myself on shit I should've been taught in public school during the 70s & 80s
