For those that don't follow me on other social media platforms, on 8/24 my husband of 29 years unexpectedly passed away from a blood clot in his sleep.
Today would have been the 29th Anniversary of the day we met. And we knew on that day that we would be together. We celebrated this day yearly

Ran the Phoenix 5k this morning in just under 30 min, which considering my lack of training runs lately is pretty good. This race commemorates the camp fire in Paradise California. I like to dress up. For those who know what I've been going through lately, this was good for my soul.

Run for Food 5k Chico. I probably came in first in the "Kilted" category. Since I was the only one wearing a kilt. Time was comparatively slow. About an 8:45/mi. I look really Fat in these.

After yesterdays birthday feast it is back to the regular diet...at least until thursday when we go Feast Mode!

Last Weightlifting session at 54. Tomorrow I become eligible for senior discounts! Yay! First time back in an actual gym in years. Rain + Leaky roof in home gym, so trying out the only gym in town.
