Knowing literally every report that comes out of ICE or DHS or anything involving US's treatment of any "immigrant," these people gave information knowing that it would likely put him in danger and especially knowing this admin doesn't care about rights and the constitution

Yes! Prof Will Bridges has work on Little Black Sambo. But I've been looking into movement of literature and film etc from US to Japan pre-war. Toys would be so cool to track! TY

Literally how do you trace the history of pickanninny imagery in Japan. I see a lot of stuff in immediate postwar and go ok but did everyone just go, cool, I'll use this now
