Yesterday we lit a candle to commemorate all victims of Holodomors. As a Ukrainian I have this candle in a glass filled with grain as my everyday reminder. This candle is lit once a year for those who survived the famines, those who died, and those who were never born.

Today is the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. On this day we all write the Radio Dictation of National Unity. Even after my recent surgery, I was not an exception today!
