Disney adult living in Sydney with hubby Chris. Love travel, Disney, Fur kids, art, restaurants, theatre, birds, knowledge. Enjoy making new friends IRL wherever we are in the world! Paint disney on clothing and bags for fun.
When I was a kid I made my dad take a slat out of our fence in the middle of the night to reunite a mummy and baby lapwing who couldn’t figure it out. They are incredibly cute. But mummy couldn’t figure out how to get to Bub. (Yes they fly) That is an awesome photo. Love this time of year !

Every time I go to china I love how much less pollution there is there. How huge the solar farms are and how many enormous free super fast charging stations there are. Lower proportion of gas guzzlers on the road in Shanghai in July even since we were there in January. Oh and the Maglev trains.

We loved the old menu too and also thought it would never change. Chris was so sad when they got rid of the fish burger.
Yes the greeting show is a great option. 🧐
I also agree the Diamond horseshoe is a brilliant show restaurant! I love Halloween when people dress as Donald with a pot plant. 🪴

I agree. It’s a strange choice. Also… That meal looks so blah to me.

We are going to mobile order a burger from the other side and skip the official meal. Apparently you have to time it to check in at the restaurant first. And then get the other meal. It is allowed. I asked.

Have you been to the east coast of Tasmania ?

Keep going! We love our electric cars in Australia.

We were in Shanghai 4 weeks ago and the sheer ratio of electric cars on the road and enormous charging stations are both amazing.

5-10 years ago in Shanghai you could only drive your petrol car on certain days (determined by number plate).

Thank you. It was so special.

We first came to Tokyo Disney the year it all began. I have loved it forever. It was just so special.

I loved when they did the Christmas special.

We were at the last show and it was wonderful. I would have liked an encore. The audience refused to
Move. Clapping for 10
Minutes. Hoping for a curtain call. There were thousands of people outside the theatre just waiting. DPA sold out in one minute.

That video is seventeen kinds of brilliant.

We have ducks near our house. And Dashwood likes to eat duck poo. Keeping him away from it is like caging the beast and when he gets it - well let’s say that we have the scene from the exorcist in our lounge room for a few hours ! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 if the main character was a dog. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

One of the best ever I reckon

So now that we can’t come to the USA because it’s dangerous for foreigners… how are the parks ? Still busy ? Are all the live shows really gone ?

Did you see the original/real Paint the Night Parade in HK -with the amazing Cantonese parts. (That’s an aside)

They are noisy when they get in the roof. You cannot miss them ! Cute little things though I promise.

That face is too cute to be real. I feel like they are looking into my soul and smirking.

Truly brilliant photo. Thanks.

It’s definitely fun. We have done it many many times. In land first many times and also after it moved to California Adventure…

The USA is a dangerous place at the moment. We will probably never go back. Which we both find incredibly sad! We were lucky to experience it often in its glory years.

Bircher muesli is exactly that.
I like to soak the oats overnight with yoghurt and a little apple juice and dried fruit. Sultanas. Cranberries. Apricots

I add sliced green apples (most important) blueberries/almonds and a sprinkle of cinnamon in the morning. Delicious. Some people add honey😵‍💫
September 15, 2025 at 8:47 PM
Silly question from me. Is the overnight oats the USA Bircher muesli ? I am fascinated by the cultural cooking or soaking ! Thanks. 🤩
