I ask myself, all the time, who do they think does *all those jobs* they ignore and underpay?

Not that folks have choices but "Let Them" will be what proves their idiocy. Let them fire everyone and burn everything down. The moment those folks who covet every possible penny of growth realize that there's nothing great about mass deportation, firings, and school closures, the tide will turn.

Etc, etc, etc. You get my point. Every closed department represents institutional AND personal spending curtailed. Let AI do it? For whom? A smaller government is bad for your bottom line. Same goes for people living in fear. Alllll of this is.

Empty fields. Empty classrooms. Empty offices.

...empty wallets...

Suddenly, a moment of clarity.

Remember the "Let Them" post that's been going around? It's going to take 2 quarters, max, for it to sink in. Anxious folks don't spend freely. Closed classrooms don't pay for tech licences.

Cut to STEM watching their lives' work being deleted before their eyes. Schools having to try to teach anything when kids are being taken by force. Where did they even find time to send an entire team to threaten an 11yo for posting derogatory stuff about 47? Defund them if they hide that kid!

And definitely hold public schools' feet to the fire over woke sh*t! Did you see that, man? Zero funding if they don't comply! And everyone has to report everything or lose their job!

So now we've got folks where we want them!

So, ICE shows up everywhere. Their buddy, Elno, has an office in the White House! DEI is out (unions have to be on alert - how great is that?!). No more limiting language! Heck, wait until he pardons the big names, like Weinstein, they really CAN do what they like after that.

No regulations. Better yet, removing the agencies which track everything, means there's no one to prove when things go sideways.

They're on board, champing at the bit, through all his announcements. With every pen strike, they're seeing a new tomorrow!

I found mine, last year. It's been bugging me for years now, and I actually found a copy, online, and bought it. And there it sits, until today. I have to admit that, upon reading the first paragraph, I'm thrilled, all over again!
