This stream was because he cared about a dearly departed friend and wanted to do his part to take care of those like her.

Community and empathy are the strongest tools in the human toolkit. It's what makes me hopeful that the world I one day die in will be better than the one I was born into.

Whatever we do we shouldn't fall for obvious baseless conspiracies like "They saw their bosses in it and got scared to act" or "These men had money and power and authority tends to ignore harms perpetrated by wealthy powerful men". That's just ridiculous and doesn't reflect reality at ALL!

Yeeeeeep! Preaching to the choir here. I think anything people need to live should at the very least be handled by non profit organizations. When the priority is to make as much money as possible Instead of serving a community, it opens the doors to corruption and perverse incentives.

Like obviously we know universal and single payer are the same but single payer hasn't been poisoned like universal and for all have been in the minds of some.

Hells yeah. That's my plan too. Honestly though if we can get a few loud champions in as well as some affordability candidates who at least are open to it in then support could snowball. Especially if we keep using single payer as the public slogan.

We need to get rid of the journalistic idea that talking to someone who opposes a minority is neutral and "Getting both sides" but talking to the affected minority is somehow "biased".

This is a golden opportunity to possibly scoop up every single one of those billionaire bastards and if we can control the conversation and say "This is what happens when a man has this much wealth and power. Never again" we could actually knock out a pillar of capital

I hate insurance genuinely. It's ridiculously cruel. Why aren't we in a post medical insurance world yet?single payer healthcare now.
