She believed "the big lie" and paid for it with her life. The tragic part is that people can be led to believe almost anything when they are in a cult. That in no ways justifies honors of any kind. Sympathy for falling victim to a cult, sure. But not military honors.

I thought it was too much when Trump announced his candidacy in 2015 and called Mexicans criminals and rapists. That should have been the end of it. I am amazed how much worse it gets every day with no end in sight. There's no bottom to his depravity and the loyalty of his supporters. It's a cult.

Ya, no shit. Alarms were going off that this administration's actions, including DOGE's chainsaw methods of labor reduction, The GOP's inaction in Congress and SCOTUS's enabling of the Mango Felon in Chief would result in the deaths of many Americans. This is only the beginning. Going to get worse.

I think Republicans and MAGA cultists lack the empathy required to understand what parents like Sarah go though. I have kids and they don't have disabilities like Audrey does, but I have no doubt Sarah loves Audrey as much as I love my kids. I can wrap that around my brain. Why can't MAGA?
