It'll never last
Of course the irony is that Brighton hired one of our executives a number of years ago and he has been a huge success <sigh>

We probably have 10 more City executives to try before we hire a Brighton one!

Doesn't matter who the manager is, Brennan needs to go as well.

If you are Bryson DeChambeau you probably think it is the best economy ever

It also has a number of Alzheimer drugs.....
December 11, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Agree with all that, but it has nothing to do with the format
December 10, 2025 at 2:37 PM
Much prefer the new format. You get way more big games each week. At this stage nearly every team has something to play for and even if you are at the very top you want to hold that position so you get a better draw with the seedings.

They only care about him for the next 3 years. After that he will be of no use.

There are two new treatments for dementia that require IV infusions, but also regular MRI tests as the risk is of brain swelling and bleeds. Only slows progression by 12-18 months though.
December 10, 2025 at 8:24 AM
You know why you may have to take all these cognitive tests? If you are receiving a treatment for dementia and they need to monitor if it's having any effect in slowing down the progression. You would also need regular MRIs and IVs put in the back of your hand 🤔

The thing about that drug is that not only does it have extremely dangerous potential side effects (death, due to either brain swelling or bleeds), but early trials only suggest it slows dementia by about 12 months. Doesn't sound great for someone who is *checks notes* the President of the USA...

What will happen is that the media will suddenly be interested in ethics and integrity again
December 8, 2025 at 3:22 PM
And regular MRI tests to look for brain bleeds.

I always used to think that Son's performances were effected by off field issues, it's the only explanation I could come up with when he would have the odd performance where it seemed like he had forgotten how to play the game. His touch just vanished.

The bribe is that the tournament is a success. This then leads to Infantino staying in power and carrying on enriching himself as FIFA President. It's quite basic really.

First time I've ever heard him make any sense

Can we just have it in Canada and Mexico? Asking for almost all the world?
