The day after the election (when I was finally able to get off the sofa) I headed out, half-disoriented, to get a bottle of wine for dinner. I ended up impulse-buying a bottle of Armagnac. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Welllll yesterday I used the last cup of it to make a colossal fruitcake. Here I am glazing the beast.
