Walking with grandkids, fun. But walking by myself in the early morning, truly inspiring. As the sun crested the horizon today, I recalled recent talks with others about difficulties in family dynamics, a PB idea spilled out like the orange and yellows across the sky. Wanted to run home. #kidlit

Yes we do. Sometimes it's too fluffy for a proper snowman. Then it gets a little warm, so we bolster them up. Then more fluffy snow, more melting. One year the cycle went on so long we just heaped the snow, stuck a couple sticks in and swore the snowmen had given up on winter too. #kidlit

WIP Actually have several WIP's restructuring. Deciding whether additions to this PB cover idea for a dummy should be done with digital design or continued with Traditional media additions/linework, lettering. Would a combo look good, or out of place. #kidlit #artshare #illustrator

Working on a CB dummy it's challenging thinking about using speech bubbles & crossover of conversation. Perhaps it's not my concern, but feel I must give it some consideration. Still, enjoying the process, however difficult.

Must have read 50-60 picture books over the week. Wolfie the Bunny repeatedly. Nabbed stack of Scholastic's Black Lagoon series from thrift sale. Zoomed thru them too. Love #kidlit #illustrators and everything wordie & arty. Time for my work now.
