On Saturday 18th January Civic Society members & friends enjoyed celebrating the Bi-Centenary of great town benefactor Mrs Hutton, donor of a hospital wing & a magnificent fountain, & learning about her interesting life, with flowers, a toast, & cordial discussions.

The Civic Society rounded off 2024 with a unique event to commemorate the 190th anniversary of the momentous December 1834 Tamworth Manifesto in our historic Town Hall. Renowned expert Historian Dr Richard Gaunt gave a fascinating lecture.
