The main bridge to our town was still being repaired, and we enjoyed walking down the temporary pontoon bridge across the river. It was the greatest attraction for citizens and their children for over a year.

I took these photos in November 2024. This place feels odd, almost like an ominous mixture of a dream and a nightmare. But it's super quiet, though it's the heart of the city. There is one more trick here, which I'll show later
