I lived through many layoffs and RIFs. Not once did we clap as workers left the building.
Every time the Republicans stood up and applauded at the Jt Session, they were showing excitement for devastating the lives of the poor, working class men, women, children, and seniors.

They don't have to cut "benefits" at all to destroy it. They cut people so processing times so new claims never get paid. They cut IT so checks don't go out. They collapse the system while saying they're trying to "save" it and when it finally explodes declare it dead and privatize it all.
