I’m an autistic dancer, music is a whole brain/whole body experience. I have a huge, diverse musical taste which I love. Except sometimes, SURPRISE, no music for a day or a week because all sounds are too many sounds. Neat.

Us disabled folks have always been disposable to them….Christian Nationalists have funding and power and played the long game, MAGA threw gas in the fire.

Anyone who thinks this way obviously has no experience fighting for support, accommodations, or benefits for themselves or others, ever, in addition to being the absolute WORST. Some day they may need help, golly will they be outraged when they are denied, disbelieved, abused, blamed, impoverished…

This study was very limited and the sample population was very much not diverse. I’m not taking too much from this as an autistic person.

Neat. This autistic lawyer won’t be getting herself or her kids on any list. I would love to meet RFKJ only to tell him I’m a better, more ethical attorney than him and he should be disbarred.

Oh no they don’t care, they want to eliminate us. In Massachusetts, pretty sure it’s still legal to use electric shock on autistics. They hate us here.

There is no cure - you can’t rewire a persons brain. What autistic people need is support and acceptance and research into how to improve quality of life. But “autism parents” get the main say, no one listens to actually autistic people.

I don’t feel shame at all. I’m furious. And I feel like I’m going to have to be “out” in places I’m not ready for yet. There may be yelling. And very autistically precise and detailed explanations of science and history. Very on brand for me though.

This is unfair to the lawyers who aren’t slimy conmen, I know, so few, but this autistic attorney is embarrassed by his existence.
