Waffles have always been superior to mere pancakes!! -it’s all those little squares in waffles—they hold much more syrup & the butter doesn’t slide off either.

I always find it difficult to fathom that the AfD would be so popular in the former DDR. On my last visit to Germany, I stayed in the former Ost Berlin, a couple of guys w/whom I spoke, reflected fond memories of former times under the thumb of communism. (“It was better then,” they said.) 🙃

Appreciated & enjoyed your interview w/ Hector Mujica. Hector has my support, to be sure. I also live here in FL & am sick & tired of this states far-right (MAGA) politics. I’m originally from a dark blue city & blue state—-and I’ve had enough of our two current far-right US Senators.

Some day, because of the extra-judicial killings of the people on the boats, Trump will be held to account by the ICC (if he lives long enough despite his poor physical health.)

Supreme Court ruled that a duly elected member cannot be denied their seat, meaning a judge could step in to administer the oath or order the House to allow it. In other words, once the government reopens, Johnson will no longer be able to act as the gatekeeper.
