On a whim I checked the program and it’s actually got my name in it! Didn’t expect that. Probably should have.

Clearer view of the sides for scale. Other than the floor I was mostly building fake iron beams.

The scenic artist then worked miracles.

The show’s now open so I can show some what I was doing for a couple of months.

It’s a touring set so everything including the floor breaks down smol.

Looks like nothing, but the floor alone is 70+ panels, each almost a full 8’x4’ sheet with 30ish other bits, weighing around 100lb each…

I think I heard about that sandwich three times in two days and yours was the one to push me to tracking down ingredients.

Hot damn I’m glad I did. Plate of first sunrises for lunch.

I survived! No building a court room on lynchin’ tree today. But I did build some feckin’ big trestles and avoided being fired, so that’s a win.

Oh, so I can upload vids to BS. Not all clients are the same.

Here’s footage of troubleshooting a pneumatics issue 90mins before exhibition opening…

Final project done. (Ok, some code tweaks in the morning…)

It sits. It stands. It bites.

Close to completion, but lots of yak shaving to go. This time next week, on my fourth attempt, I’ll have a degree.

It was pointed out I was wearing the right helmet for riding today specifically.

Bit more scuffed than when I painted it up a few years back.

And that, children, is why we wear the body armour in the first place.

Work in progress. Can you tell what it’s going to be?

Looking at old photos, and say what you like about dogs, but growing up with cats in the house was great.

Since the first proper performance is starting now, I guess I can show you what I’ve been working on recently.

So much fun to be involved with.
(And actually a really good performance).

The only things in this photo I didn’t have a hand in are the lighting and the oil drum.

@chrisratcliff.bsky.social Holymoly, this is a MTB pic and a half by the Pinkbike photographers from Hardline practice. Rider walked of the hill so not as bad as it looks like but I bet she’s sore AF today.

The images were spot on.

Actually polar bear poop is nearly always liquid (I do my research!). The first versions I made were not made to be pooped and had giant fish fingers in them.
November 21, 2024 at 1:17 PM
Here you go, two sizes of polar bear poo, one of two boxes of fish fingers (this one’s magnetised), and a rejigged phone 95% completed. I’ll spare you the bench I painted black and the things they’ve broken during rehearsals I fixed)
