Ogre of the Swamp

The lighting was in my favour with the blue sky reflecting so well off the murky swamp water. But something kept drawing me back to this photo and then I finally figured it out. It was the giant ogre foot to the left. 😉

Aging Leaves Vibrant red leaves mixed with orange and gold, Are as a coral sunset late in the day. Time is short, feeling the blanket of cold, Desperately hoping to keep winter at bay. A medley of colours with a view to be sure. Reflection shows their wisdom and grace. Visited by many, the young and the pure, They hope to be remembered and not be erased. The days get crisp with a breezy blow. One by one they fall to the ground. Dancing in the air with an ebb and a flow, Peacefully surrendering without a sound. Never forgotten. No, never lost.
