Never thought I’d cringe watching a nationally televised parade…but here we are.

Why are home chefs on social media so aggressive? So much slamming and throwing and yelling...what did that potato ever do to you?

It seems I overestimated my ability to simultaneously watch an award show, document winners and performers, fix audio issues, upload interviews, pull soundbites and format a recap. Oh, this glamorous country music life.

Relatively certain everyone in Nashville's Bridgestone Arena was in tears during Brooks & Dunn and Jelly Roll's performance of "Believe." Not me though. I'm tough as.....no. No, I'm not. I'm going to go mop my cheeks now. #CMAAwards

Back in the old days of #countrymusic, when we all walked uphill in the snow both ways to Music Row, the great Gerry House helped write the monologues for the award shows. Oh, how I miss him.

Red carpet pro tip: Don't ask a "yes" or "no" question unless you have an immediate follow-up.

This is moderately painful.
