Nothing can be done at this point with this information we already knew. Bush stole an election from Gore and nothing happened. Republicans are in control and would not vote to impeach even if the evidence was iron clad. Even if trump said he did it. I am just hoping we get primaries that matter.

Jellyfish can't conceive of having spines. They can imagine ruthlessly stinging and consuming any ideology nearby to theirs and stuffing it into their mouth/asshole for digestion and conversion into center right waste...I lost the metaphor. But somewhere in it is an anarchist group of turtles.

Defending our intrinsic human rights and defending/expanding those rights as they appear in imperfect documents is worth a fight.

Yes ideally we wont be dying to defend democracy. I am not sure we wont have to die or fight to defend our rights. The constitution is a piece of paper if we aren't willing to rumble.Laws can be ignored or rewritten. Rights/Laws are all immaterial if both parties are not given reason to comply.

Kent state had a pretty big hand in vietnam ending. MLK being murdered had a lot to do with de-segregation. Stonewall did a lot to move the needle on gay rights. Government violence and the reasonable response to that violence does move history.

No. I don't think you can beat the USA Military in a direct conflict. I think you can indirectly. I think you can make yourself a whole pain in the ass to kill. Better than rolling over. If people are ordered to violate the constitution or kill civilians...how many have hearts? Fun to find out!

This is okay to your Rep and to the people in your district (a majority who voted GOP). They like ICE cracking down on "Invaders" and progress being dialed back 50 years. They are getting ready to crack down on peaceful protesting. They are moving to escalate. The opposition is its most powerful now

Do we expect laws to matter? New laws are about to drop with a new regime. No one is doing anything to make our laws matter. Nice democracy if we can keep it. That if is doing some heavy lifting.

No it's being called a riot. Makes the sale of violent government response easier. I like how "shot-called" the government crackdown is. A year ago we were hearing "the revolution will stay bloodless if the left allows". Decision time Anti-fascists. Another kent state will motivate and move people.

Yes but the next step when the government is afraid of its people we have seen before. Its Not admitting the whole thing was a big mistake. Its guns and authoritarianism. When you actually protest...the Federal Government gets violent quickly and shuts down avenues for peaceful protest.

Shooting protesters is the plan. Break a protest, declare it a riot and use violence. Send a message and occupy without resistance. American education on protests taught us an incomplete protest toolkit. When our government reacts violently most protesters fold. Peace was never an option. Truly.

I think stuart little would have been accidentally killed while commuting way before he got a chance...or just picked up by a bird. He would have lived long enough to have entered the drugs and debauchery phase of his life first though.
