Climate in P-town has definitely changed. Soon we will be able to grow avocado and lemon (without a green house or bringing them indoors).

I am 55, and no retirement. Never had a job long enough where I could get retirement (many companies i worked for did the restructuring thing- laid off lots of people).
My home is my safety line.

They won't allow for principle payment until interest is paid off. Since interest is compounded daily I will NEVER be able to pay off the interest. I will be stuck in this income death trap. I have grad loans. I am scared they will take my home to pay off this debt. If they do, I will be homeless.

Thank you for this! I am in a research group..we are discussing how to do next project (women and perimenopause) with the threat of research that is gender focused is in jeopardy. NIH was supposed to get millions of dollars for menopause research, that bill will not pass now.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised though. Experienced ageism at school.

I feel betrayed by many NDs, and Functional Med Practitioners who supported this guy. I guess I was ignorant in assuming those who support Holistic health would not be racist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic...
Now we see them. Now we know.

"Campaign Legal Center (CLC) has prepared a fact sheet that summarizes these issues and urges every member of Congress to vote against this legislation."

"This bill would also upend mail and online voter registration systems, mandate error-ridden voter purges, and could subject election workers to harsh criminal penalties simply for doing their job. "

"While the SAVE Act has been characterized as a narrow bill mandating proof of citizenship for voter registration, its extreme documentation requirements would actually implement one of the harshest voter suppression laws nationwide. "

I keep seeing so many ideas of what we "need" to do.
Seeing so many things from every corner. It doesn't seem organized. There doesn't seem to be one significant organized plan in place that we (the millions of people) can engage in. We need to go big to save our home.

I like the idea of totally shutting down on 3/15.
Not sure this can be done on a mass scale.
Thinking of people who can't stop work, travel, shop. People- miss 1 day of pay could be detrimental.
People who work in life saving jobs.
Sacrifice is needed, but we need to support each other too.

I cut my oregon grape back this past fall.
I need to learn how to harvest it and make some good stuff from it.

It says women "in menopause"--menopause is a moment. A day-1year anniversary of FMP.
Is she looking for women in perimenopause? Or does she want women who are in perimenopause and post-menopause?

All of this was listed in Project 2025..he is implementing all parts of that document.
