I went down a weird Wikipedia rabbit hole after watching the concentration camp episode of the Twilight Zone and, I'm sorry, WHAT?
The Kaiser Wilhelm Institute of Anthropology, Human Heredity, and Eugenics was a research institute founded in 1927 in Berlin, Germany. The Rockefeller Foundation partially funded the actual building of the Institute and helped keep the Institute afloat during the Great Depression.

This book on the history of poster design from 1970s Italy seems to understand a basic concept that 21st century American internet centrists do not. See also: "right-wing populism" is not a real thing. It's an oxymoron. It's a deliberate misdirect.
At the same time the Nazis successfully borrowed themes from the far left (they called themselves National Socialists, for instance), emptying them of their real content and keeping only the forms. One poster, showing an arm in chains on a red background, suggested that when the crowds raised their arms to approve teh Fuhrer's actions, when they shouted Ja, with that word they broke the chains that bound them. It was as if Hitler's victory was the victory of the revolution. Unmistakably, the poster was capitalizing on widespread socialist sympathies.

I didn't feel like doing corporate Women's History Month graphics yesterday so I did this Grim Fandango fan-art instead because my brother requested Salvador Limones.
I think someone is robbing these poor, naive souls of their rightful destinies, leaving them no option to to march on a treacherous trail of tears, unprotected and alone. Viva la revolucion.
